The information system of the rational choice of the scanning receivers and transceivers is described. Input data of the system are the parameters of the devices according to the consumers’ requirements, information on the parameters of the devices, which is added to the program database. The expert working with the information system receives, analyzes and estimates the information (requirements) of the consumers. The expert creates ranges of the values of the main parameters of the scanning receivers and transceivers, which have to be reached, and the values of coefficients of importance for the criteria. Output information is an order of preference of alternatives, which display an optimum level of the quality of the devices with the set requirements. The system works at the basis of the method, which is earlier developed by the authors. The flowchart of the main algorithm of the information system, which comprises two processes: a preliminary choice of the devices and a rational choice from the received set of the devices, is described. The architecture of the information system, which includes a storage of the data, a block of data processing, a role and relations between them, is presented. The intellectual property for the developed information system is protected by the Certificate on the official registration of the computer program for IBM. The created information system allows a person make the decision to store and look for information on the scanning receivers and transceivers, and to solve a problem of a choice of devices. The advantage of the developed system consists the following: it gives the chance to use all the factors (characteristics with concrete values of an assessment of quality, characteristics with binary values of an assessment of quality, values of importance of the parameters and others) for a choice of the scanning receivers and transceivers.
